Annabeth / Lucy:
"The Way She Moves" aired Wednesday night (starring Annabeth Gish). If you missed it or are like me don't have VH1, the fantabulous Khristine has screen captures up at Simply Annabeth! And, Lucy Lawless, who will be starring the first 2 episodes of the new season will be on Conan tonight on NBC. I'm moving today, so there will most likely not be another update until Wednesday :) Have a great long weekend everyone!

New Episode Title / Schedule:
9x03 now has a title - Dæmonicus, which airs November 18, is written and directed by Frank Spotnitz. Read more at the Official Site and S9 Episode Guide (no spoilers). The Official Site has also updated the episode schedule, which I've put in the right-hand column and on the episode schedule page. On another scheduling note, BCTV (which will soon become GlobalBC) has cancelled its airing of The Lone Gunmen (uck!)

The Official Site has posted the Chris Carter chat. I know a lot of people couldn't access the chat, so now everyone can have a read :) And, a big huge thanks to everyone that joined XFilesForum.com! The Official Site has announced that there will be a Chris Carter chat this Thursday, August 23rd at 7 PM EST (4 PM PST). Why do I have to be at work when all the fun stuff happens? Everyone will have to fill me in on what happens :)

PURity FanFic Update/ Sad news :(:
The PURity FanFic Challenge has been updated with the winners for our 'Mind Candy' (NC-17 fic - no minors!) contest. And, some sad FanFic news. Lee Burwasser, an X-Files FanFic writer, passed away recently. You may leave a few words in her memory on her memorial page.

According to an e-mail I received the Season 7 Episode Guide is now available at Barnes and Noble. I believe the release date for anyone that pre-ordered it through amazon.com is still August 23rd.

Irresistible cappies:
I posted screen captures from Irresistible, the most disturbing episode (in my opinion of course!) and one of the hardest episodes to spell! A great episode nonetheless and lots of great snappies :)

Etcetera:
The Official Site has posted the title to 9X02 - Nothing Important Happened Today II. The OS also posted the Three Words scroll-crawl. The release date for the Season 7 Episode Guide ("All Things") has changed *again* to August 23rd. You can of course still pre-order :) Oh, and for the shippers out there Gertie set up a Shipper FanListing. There's also a David Duchovny FanListing - those Fan Listings are very popular!! I want one! LOL.

But where are they now?:
Catching up on previous X-Files stars (and a current one). I transcribed a TV Guide Article about one of William B. Davis (cigarette-smoking man) X-Filesh project. Congrats to Mimi Rogers (Diana Fowley) gave birth to a baby boy on July 30th (Thanks Deslea!) And, Spy Kids: Special Edition (with Robert Patrick) is now showing in theatres.

New character / FTF Premiere / Evolution Store:
There's some more info (not much) on Cary Elwes' new character at the Official Site and E!Online. And, Fight The Future premieres on FOX Sept 14, but it also airs on the Space Channel (Canada) Sunday, September 30 7pmPT/10pmET. Ads for the movie are running on Space now (I'm still deciding if I'm going to post it..). I'm not sure if FX has any similar plans to air the movie. And finally, I totally forgot about this! I put together an Evolution Online Store a few weeks ago! I really have start writing these things down :)

Extreme Close-Up:
To celebrate David's 41st birthday I captured an interview/ behind-the-scenes special called Extreme Close-up, which was filmed just before Evolution was released into theatres. It's mostly promotion for Evolution, but also includes some talk about X-Files and David's early acting roles. It's in 4 parts up at Frenzy! I also did screen captures and got a little carried away, but oh well!

S9 Premiere Title! / Re-run schedule:
The Official Site posted the title to the Season 9 premiere - "Nothing Important Happened Today" I posted some info in the Season 9 episode guide (possible very minor spoilers). Read more at the OS :) I've also posted the new re-run schedule on the episode schedule and in the right-hand column :) The Official Site also re-posted that 'Fight The Future' will air Friday, September 14! Yeahness!

New/Old Robert Patrick Clip:
Happy belated August everyone (how can it be August already?!?)! While I was sorting through my many unlabelled video tapes I found an Entertainers clip with Robert Patrick when he was promoting Spy Kids. He also talks about X-Files. The clip is up at Frenzy and the some images are here :) A few months ago we also posted some RP captures of the Spy Kids trailer.

Merchandise update:
The Season 7 Episode Guide ("All Things") is supposed to be in stores today and I've heard that the 2002 Calendar is in stores as well :) The the calendar cover posted at amazon.com is new to me! I'm going to try find both of them today, but I'm not sure how much luck I'm going to have in my city...
