Revised Schedule / New episode name:
The Official Site updated the episode schedule which is in the right-hand upcoming events column and on the episode schedule page. And, the OS also posted that the title for 9x07 is "John Doe".

Lots and lots of auctions:
foxauctionforamerica.org has been set up to help raise money for the victims of September 11. One of the items that will be auctioned off is "The official ``X-Files'' pinball machine owned by series producer, Vince Gilligan, autographed by all cast members". It's not up for auction yet, but keep checking! Thanks SLS for the heads-up. And, David Duchovny designed a cell phone, which is up for auction for charity at Yahoo!.

Articles / Halloween fun :):
This month's issue of Cinescape (November 2001) has 3 articles on The X-Files. I transcribed two of them (the third is about X-Files on DVD). My favourite is the article about the 5 most scariest episodes. It reminds me of the poll we did last summer :) We even have the same #1 scariest episode: Home. And, Kate sent in a short article about David Duchovny and Vancouver. And, lastly, if anyone hasn't checked out The X-Files Pumpkin Patterns that Amy and Erin put up - GO!! - they're so cool!

Season 9 Premiere Date Change:
The Official Site announced that the Season 9 Premiere has moved from November 4 to November 11. I'm not sure what will happen to the air dates for the other episodes or if Global (Canada) will also delay the premiere.

Possible Premiere Delay / Fan Mail:
The bad news! The Season 9 opener, scheduled for November 4, may be delayed if the World Series goes to a 7th game. Apparently, that happens about 20% of the time, so it's a small chance. And, the Official Site posted that they will no longer be accepting fan mail via snail mail (read more). Speaking of fan mail (yeah, this is a little off-topic)... a friend (Hi Amy aka Aqua!) and I wrote our first and only piece of fan mail to Stephen Snedden (aka Jimmy on The Lone Gunmen) this summer and this week I received this autographed picture (and some other goodies!) in the mail. Love that guy!

Behind-The-Scenes Video Clip :
I've added a new behind-the-scenes video clip from the 'Inside The X-Files' special from 1998. Chris Carter, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson talk about Mulder and Scully's relationship. It's interesting to watch after the outcome of Season 8 and we get to hear Chris Carter say "Scully loves Mulder and Mulder loves Scully". Hey, I'm a shipper :) And, one last note - my e-mail address has changed. It's xfmegan@shaw.ca now. My @home e-mail still works, but I'm not sure for how long. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

10/13!! Par-tay! Happy 45th birthday to Chris Carter and 40th birthday to Mulder :) And, I've re-organized the Image Gallery, which should make it easier for me to archive images (and maybe easier to browse through the images!). I got my hands on some new/old magazines, so there are 4 new scans in image gallery!

Nothing Important Happened Today (NIHT) Pics!!:
Okay, the Official Site ROCKS!!! They've posted...13 (!) new pics on their NIHT page :) They also posted the title for 9x06 (I'm sure everyone already knows, but now it's "official") - Lord of Flies. And, 2 other Season 9 promo pics (originally posted at a great French X-Files site, lvei.net) - Shannon McMahon (Lucy Lawless) and McMahon and Doggett.

Gillian on ET / Evolution DVD:
I caught a short clip of Gillian Anderson on Entertainment Tonight last night. Check out the (very short!) video clip and screen captures. GAWS has a MPEG clip of the video clip if you can't download RealMedia :) And, the Evolution DVD is being released December 26, 2001 (Merry Christmas!). It can be pre-ordered from Amazon.com. I've also updated the Evolution Store! Remember, all profits made through this site go to charity!

FX Correction:
I posted yesterday that FX had moved the X-Files time slot to 1amPT/4amET. Well, FX has changed its mind again. According to the FX Website the next X-Files episode to air is Within and will air November 26th. Keep checking your local listings and FX for current info :) Happy Thursday (it's almost FRIDAY!)

X-Files Schedule:
First off, someone asked me what happened to X-Files on FX. I don't have FX, but according to FX Schedule, X-Files has not been cancelled, but has moved to a different time slot - 1am PT/ 4am ET! Second, good news for Canadian viewers! Global is airing Season 8 re-runs (Sunday night, 9pm PT/ET): Oct 14 - Empedocles, Oct 21 - Alone.
