Season 9 DVD Release Date!:
We have a release date! According to tvshowsondvd.com the release date for the X-Files Season 9 DVD is May 11, 2004! YAH! The DVD is not up for pre-order at amazon.com yet, but I will post the link as soon as it is! tvshowsondvd.com also has information about the episodes, deleted scenes and extras, which I'm copying here because it's exciting! :) Thanks SKH for the heads-up!

Season 9 DVD Clarification / Cover Art!:
I wasn't very clear about the Season 9 DVD in my last update. So, let me clarify :) A rumour was posted at Digital Bits that the X-Files Season 9 DVD would not be released until November 2004. *However*, since my last update, TVShowsOnDVD.com posted The X-Files Season 9 DVD cover art, which FOX included along with other pieces of DVD cover art that are slated for a Spring 2004 release. So, maybe this means the DVD wasn't delayed after all!! Yippie! I'm hoping some official word comes out soon, so we can get this all sorted out!

Chris Carter in Documentary:
Chris Carter appears in the documentary about the history of British Columbia (Canada) Film and Television Industry, "Inventing Grace, Touching Glory" (which can be ordered from CanadaFilmHistory.com). There is an interview (which includes talk of the 2nd X-Files movie) with the filmmaker, Brent Madarasz about Chris Carter on the site. Season 9 DVD:
I wanted to let everyone know that as of today, there is no official release date for the Season 9 X-Files DVD, although it is rumoured to be released in November of this year.

DVD Extras:
There are some great extras (interviews, deleted scenes, behind the scene video clips) from the X-Files Seasons 1-8 DVDs on FOX's website: Season one, two,three, four, five, six, seven & eight.
Resist or Serve Website / News:
There is now an official site for the PS2 game, Resist or Serve. There are wallpapers, video clips and a trailer of the game on the site. Thanks to gaddarchives.com for the link :) It also looks like Resist or Serve will only be available in the PS2 format, not XBox.
2003 Dream Awards:
Voting for the 2003 Dream Awards is now underway and continues until February 1st. There are lots of beautiful X-Files artwork along with non X-Files work to vote on!

"The Truth" Behind The Scenes Videos!:
These are two video clips that the Official Site posted May, 2002. All of the clips are zipped real media. You will need WinZip and a Real Media Player (free player link in upper right corner) to view the clips. The first is a clip of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson cutting a cake: Clip One. The second is a behind-the-scenes clip of "The Truth": Clip Two. PLEASE do NOT link these files from your website or from dicussion forums.

I posted these clips a while back, but I never archived them. They are from a FOX outtake special which aired in November 2002. They are really fun! I finally archived them here :) Again, no linking these files please :)

Resist Or Serve Game:
I know this is getting old, but the release date for the PS2/XBox X-Files Game, "Resist Or Serve" has been pushed back AGAIN! I'm going by Amazon.com's release date: March 16, 2004. ebgames.com and vugames.com has some fun screen captures. And, on another note, I would like to thank everyone who has signed the guestbook and e-mailed recently!

X-Files On TV:
Today is the last day that The Space Channel (Canada) will air any X-Files episodes. If you read this early enough, you can still catch "The Truth" :) In the US, X-Files still airs on the SCIFI channel and TNT (click the links for schedules). I've added these links to the left hand column for easy reference :) Also, X-Files is airing on FOX (at least in my area) Mondays at 12:05AM and 1:05AM (times PST). And, it airs on WGN (WB Superstation) on Sundays at 6pm PST. Thanks to Annie for letting me know!
X-Files Screen Savers:
The Official X-Files site had some neat X-Files screen savers, but is now offline. Thanks to Deslea, you can now download all 3 screen savers for PC and MAC! Go here to view them! Resist and Serve:
The Playstation 2 X-Files game Resist and Serve's release date has been moved back yet again. But, there is some confusion to when it will be released. The new release date according to gamespot.com is January 5, 2004 (Thanks to Jeffrey for the heads up) and according to amazon.com the release date is February 18, 2004. The manufacturer's website (Sierra) still lists the game as being released Summer 2003, but has some nice screenshots :) Anyways, here's a picture of the cover. If anyone has anymore info about the game, please e-mail me :)
