Who's your favourite X-Files character - and what does it say about your personality?
Fox Mulder
You've always been a bit different - someone who marches to the beat of their own drum, rather than falling in with the crowd. On the surface you appear confident but in reality you're quite shy.
You've always been a bit of a loner and you don't make friends easily. Trust is a big issue with you too and only a few close friends are worthy of it. You have a droll sense of humor, not to mention a sharp, intelligent and open mind.
As a self-confessed workaholic, you don't seem to have much time for a social life. You're not great with relationships either, and you rarely show any emotion. Sometimes you look as though you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
A firm believer in, well, just about anything, you can sometimes be too gullible for your own good.
Dana Scully
At heart you're a skeptic -- although your skepticism has eroded a bit over the last few years. Still, nine times out of ten, you believe that everything has a logical explanation and that science can provide all the answers. You're very conscientious and have a stubborn streak -- when you make up your mind about something it stays that way!
You're extremely reliable, determined and very career minded. A consequence of all your hard work seems to be your loss of a social life; you're all work and no play!
Let's face it, it's been so long since you let your hair down and enjoyed yourself, you've probably forgotten how to have a good time!
John Doggett
You're very much a 'by the book' kind of person. Some would even say you're a conformist. And you don't like to draw attention to yourself. You're happy to stay in the background and get the job done. You're pretty thorough and on the surface you can appear somewhat hard-nosed. But you do have a gently side, it's just that you usually keep it very well hidden!
You're a very down-to-Earth person; with you, what you see is what you get. You're not a great believer when it comes to conspiracy theories and the paranormal. In fact, the only way you'll believe something is if you can see it, smell it and touch it. Otherwise, it just doesn't exist.
Monica Reyes
You might not look it, but underneath your conventional exterior lies a bit of a wild child. You're quite a spiritual person and you have an interest in mysticism. Although you don't like to call yourself either a believer or a skeptic, you do have an open mind. You're willing to believe in extreme possibilities and you don't have to see something with your own eyes to believe it.
You are a genuinely compassionate, caring and sensitive person. And you are responsive to other peoples' feelings and moods. It's no surprise that you have great faith, a belief in your own instincts.
Walter Skinner
You're the strong, silent type; you see silence as a strength and showing your emotions as a sign of weakness. You can be way too serious for your own good and sometimes not as patient as you would like. You don't like to let people see the real you and as a consequence, you often appear cold, sometimes even hostile. But at heart you're loyal, honest and reliable and when push comes to shove you can always be counted upon.
In a crisis you keep a cool head and you have great leadership qualities. And you're always willing to stand your own ground, to stand up for yourself -- and for your friends.
Alex Krycek
Charm may well be your middle name but you also have a ruthless dark side, which you keep well hidden. You can be extremely selfish and always seem to have your own agenda; you look after number one.
Words to describe you range from devious and underhanded to untrustworthy and spineless. You don't care who gets hurt just as long as you get what you want.
To you, no one is expendable -- and woe betide anyone who gets in your way! I mean, do you even know what a guilty conscience is? Where were you when they were handing them out -- the back of the queue? Guilt is certainly an alien concept to you.
The Cigarette-Smoking Man
You like to make your presence felt and you'll willingly risk everything to get what you want. Power is your aphrodisiac. And the more power you have, the more you crave. You are quite mysterious; no one knows who the real you is -- maybe not even you.
It's a good thing that you're used to getting your own way because you do have a dangerous, somewhat sinister side. You want people to respect and admire you. But more often than not, you mistake their respect for fear. In short, you're unpleasant, loathsome and altogether nasty piece of work.
Yes, people may well remember you. But more for the wrong reasons than the right ones.
Melvin Frohike
You're a person of few words. It's not that you haven't got anything interesting to say; you'd just much rather let your actions speak louder than your words. You have a distorted view of yourself. You consider yourself to be a real action man but in reality, it couldn't be further from the truth -- although you're never afraid to get your hands dirty.
Surprisingly, you do have a compassionate and tender side, although you're usually the one cracking the jokes and delivering the quick jibes. Personality-wise, you're not exactly memorable but no one could forget you, because you really do have the most bizarre fashion sense. You really do need to do something about your wardrobe!
Richard 'Ringo' Langly
You're really into the grunge look. It's no surprise that you have little interest in your appearance! You have a good sense of humor, although sometimes you can be a tad sarcastic. You come across as a bit of a geek and it doesn't help that you're a whiz with computers.
Although you're obviously very intelligent, you can be a bit big headed and perceived to be cocky when in fact it's just self-confidence rather than arrogance.
In your spare time you can either be found on the Internet or playing computer games. Oh, and you never wear anything but jeans and heavy metal/punk T-shirts! So it's no wonder you've perfected the scruffy just-got-out-of-bed look!
John Fitzgerald Byers
At heart you're an idealist and that'll never change. You are mild mannered and have a no-nonsense demeanor. You take great pride in your appearance and personal hygiene; you always look smart and well kept.
Undoubtedly intelligent, you have a sharp mind and are very focused. You rarely lose your temper, and always come across as calm and collected. But sometimes you can be a little bit too uptight and stuffy. Anyone would think you didn't know how to laugh.
And when was the last time you kicked loose and had fun? Yes, fun; you have heard of that word, haven't you? Come on, it wouldn't kill you to smile every now and again. You need to use that sardonic wit of your a bit more often!
